Trikon does not tell you what is true. It shows you the same story across the Left, Centre and Right of the Indian press, and routes you to independent fact-checkers to verify contested claims.
Who we are
Trikon is built by Jovian Axis Labs, an independent product studio in India founded by Darshan Solanki. It is not owned by, funded by, or affiliated with any media house, political party, or government body.
The lean registry, ownership registry, and this transparency page are maintained editorially by the founding team. An independent, politically-balanced review panel is planned and will be disclosed here when it exists — it does not exist yet.
How it is funded
Trikon currently earns no revenue: no ads, no subscriptions, no sponsored placement, no payments from any outlet we rate.
If that ever changes, the revenue model will be disclosed on this page BEFORE it launches, and ratings will never be for sale — an outlet cannot pay to change its lean, ownership entry, or placement.
Independence
No outlet, owner, party, or government has any role in Trikon's ratings, story clustering, or Andekha flags.
Every fact-checker we link to is an independent IFCN signatory. We do not link to government-run fact-check units, in India or anywhere, because a government checking claims about itself is not independent verification. The Bombay High Court struck down the Union government's Fact Check Unit in 2024.
Corrections
Every change to an outlet's lean rating, ownership entry, or methodology is recorded in the public change log below — with the date, what changed, and why.
Anyone (including the outlet itself) can challenge a rating or entry by contacting our Grievance Officer below. In line with the IT Rules 2021, complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days. Upheld challenges are corrected and logged; rejected ones get a reasoned reply.
